We are situated just 35 minutes north of Launceston, Tasmania in the beautiful Tamar Valley region. Here at Layton Valley we are dedicated to producing an all round trainable horse concentrating on quality conformation and temperament first, colour is just another bonus!!

We truly believe that a horse with a willing trainable nature will give the rider everything that they are striving for. We do not however, substitute quality, rather we have selected our mares from some of the finest bloodlines in the world, such as Docs Hillbilly, Byline, Cuttarbars Colonel, & Proud to be an Oakie. We have combined working lines with some of the best halter horses from here and the United States, producing stock who not only have beauty, but brains as well.

Be it cutting, reining, dressage, hacking or just enjoying a trail ride on weekends, our horses are bred to take you wherever you want to go.

The only limitation is YOUR imagination.
